Vadodara traffic police provide a green corridor last midnight to transport organs (Kidney and Liver) of a patient to Ahmedabad civil hospital cut the 129 kilometers route in 85 minutes. The donor patient met with an accident and died during treatment in Manjalpur private hospital.

Giving details ACP traffic Amita Vanani said a local resident from Manjalpur Mukesh Shankarbhai Patel was admitted in serious condition in Global hospital after met with an accident. He was under treatment and later died in the hospital. The family of the deceased wish to donate the Kidneys and Liver of the patient and need to transport it urgently to Ahmedabad Civil hospital to transplant it in needy patients.

Dr. Uday from the hospital requests help from the Vadodara traffic police to provide a green corridor to transport the organs urgently to the Ahmedabad Civil hospital. The team respond and in order to provide the corridor Assistant police Sub Inspector Rajubhai Chunnibhai and Head Constable Praffulbhai Narayanbhai was sent to the hospital to pilot the ambulance.

ACP further said the ambulance with the organs cover the 129 kilometers distance in 85 minutes. The green corridor provide for to transport organs to Ahmedabad Civil hospital might be the first such incident in the city.
