Total of 11 junctions raised by police to check the violations and recover fines

Vadodara traffic police implements the new revised traffic rules from 1st November. A total of 11 junctions are raised by the police to check the violations and recover fines on the spot.

ACP traffic Amita Vanani said from 1st November the new revised rules are in place in state and the city traffic department strictly implemented it from today. The teams specially check the people not wearing helmets, wrong side driving, break traffic signals and caught the violaters.

Department raised 11 junctions at Sardar Estate, Chakli circle, Soma Talav, Maharani Nursing home crossing, Fatehgunj crossing, Susen, Amit nagar circle, Kadak market, Padmavati shopping centre and Lehripura. PI, PSI, Head Constable and police constable teams are checking at the mentioned junctions as part of the drive and recover fines from the violaters.

The traffic department conducts special drive against the auto rickshaw drivers at Padmavati shopping centre and Sayajigunj. The teams check the over loaded rickshaws and fined them. The drive will continue in the evening and thereafter every day.
