Vadodara traffic police drive against drivers using loud musical horns

Collected fine from 233 such drivers

Vadodara traffic police is running special drives to ensure the drivers and pedestrians safety on roads for past many days. As part of the drive the teams on Thursday conducted special drive against the drivers using air and musical loud horns in their vehicles while driving.

The horns lead the other drivers in a situation where it can lead to accidents. The padestirians walking on side of roads might lose their hearing power due to such horns blowing so loud near them. To act against such drivers and sound pollution, the teams conduct drives at around 23 different places in the city and caught 233 such vehicles using the horns. The teams took out the horns from such vehicles and collected fine of 23300 from the drivers on the spot.
