Whole world
is taking precautionary measures to fight with the deadly Coronavirus disease
starting from China. In Vadodara also the SSG hospital raised a isolation ward
inside it’s premises for the patients.
Wuhan city
in China is locked down due to the virus as the death toll reached to 80 due to
Coronavirus in the country. Nearly 20 students from Gujarat are also stuck
there as government issues strict advisory for everyone.
On the
guidelines of WHO a conference was organised for doctors, airport authorities
and corporation to discuss about the precautionary steps in view of the disease
outbreak. Based on that SSG hospital raised a special isolation ward for the
patients with facilities like ventilator, x ray, sonography machines and proper
stock of medicines in case of such patients.
Along with
the infrastructure, round the clock security is also kept there at the ward.
Till date no such case is registered in the hospital. Hospital Superintendent
Dr. rajiv Deveshwar said the hospital system and staff is equipped to fight if
such case comes to the hospital.
