Vadodara SOG caught one with illegal diesel of IOC

Recovered 510 litres of diesel

The SOG team received the information about one Suresh Upadhyay from Dashrath Faliya in Karachiya village stocked illegal diesel on his terrace and selling it from there. He stocked the diesel inside barrels and selling it illegally.

Based on the tip the team reached the spot and caught Suresh Upadhyay from there. The team seized 200 and 100 litres of capacity barrels, four 35 litres capacity four plastic drums with around 510 litres diesel from his possession. A matter is registered in Jawaharnagar police station in this regard.

As per the MO some boys from the Karachiya village goes to IOC company and steal diesel from the tankers and selling it illeagly. The accused Suresh bought the diesel from the boys stocked it inside his house and then selling it to the people illegally. The accused was earlier arrested in the same offence four year ago. SOG is further investigating in the case.
