Vadodara SOG busted duplicate currency racket

Caught two with duplicate currency worth 87500

On 23rd the SOG team received the information about one Abhishek Surve and his associate are standing near the HDFC Sangam crossing branch and tries to enter duplicate currency into the market. Based on the tip the team reached the spot and caught two from the mentioned place.

Abhishek Surve is B.Com graduate from MSU and involved in mouled steel trading . The another Sumit Nambiar studies till 12th from Rosary school and repairs AC and fridge. The team recovered 152 duplicate notes of 500 denomination from Abhishek along with two wheeler and cash. The team found 23 notes of 500 denomination from Sumit after the search.

Abhishek gives duplicate currency to Sumit to run it in small and medium food outlets in the market. The currency was given to Abhishek by one Kuldeep Rawal from Rajkot/Surat ten days ago at Amit Nagar circle. Further investigation is on in the matter by Incharge SOG PI H.M. Chauhan.
