Arrested mother son duo in the matter

Vadodara police busted a racket of making duplicate currency of rupees 100 and arrested a mother son duo. The accused made the currency and used it in the fairs organised in the city. The team seized colour printer and other equipments from the accused.

As per SOG incharge PI H.M. Chauhan the team caught Sairabanu Meman and her son Mohammad Meman from their third floor house behind Harish petrol pump in Panigate area. The duo prepare 100 rupee duplicate notes with the help of colour printer and used it in fairs.

The duo used the notes late night in the city and specially targeted the fairs where the crowd comes for purchasing items. A street hawker caught one person with the duplicate note from inside the Eid fair at Tandalja and later SOG took custody of him. During interrogation he revealed about coming there with a mother son duo and both return home after purchasing items from the fair.

The team immediately reached there house and caught the mother son duo with the items they purchased with duplicate currency. They seized colour printer, duplicate notes and mobiles from there and resister a complaint in Panigate police station for further investigation.
