Vadodara SOG arrested three wanted criminals along with a Mouzer

Vadodara SOG arrested three wanted criminals from the city late yesterday night and recovered a local hand made mouzer from one of the accused.

All the three were wanted for 20 days after they attacked one person and fired on him with a intention to kill. The police arrested all and further investigating in the matter.

SOG Incharge Police Inspector H.M. Vyas along with his team was in patrolling when he received an important input about the accused from a personal source. The accused Mohammad Naeem Taktiwala, Mohammad Junaid Sheikh and Jaimin Patel are wanted in Wadi police station for IPC 307, Rioting, Arms Act and other offences.

Vyas received the input about the trio were seen near Moghalwada restaurant in Wadi area of Vadodara city. The team also received the information about one of the accused posses a weapon (Mouzer) with him.

After the input the SOG team reached the spot and arrested the trio from Shalimar hotel lane in front of Golawala developers. The team also recovered one local hand made mouzer from Mohammad Naeem worth 25,000 rupees. The police regiatered the case of illegal possession of weapon against Naeem and further io investigating. However the other two are wanted in Wadi police station so they were detained under 41(1) and handover later to Wadi police station.

All the three along with their associates attacked one Mohammad Wasim Ghulam Dastagir Sheikh some 20 days ago and fired on him with an intention to kill him. All are wanted in that offence and Mohammad Naeem accepted to fire from the same pistol which the SOG team recovered from him.

Md Naeem has various offences of Rioting, Arms Act and others registered against him at different police stations of Wadi and Panigate. Jaimin Patel has one murder case registered against him. The SOG team is further investigating about the pistol and from where Naeem get it. Further is Naeem used it in other matters.
