Vadodara SOG team arrested one for selling duplicate electronic items by pasting logos of branded companies on products. The accused ordered television and Air conditioning parts from Delhi. Police team seized 18.74 lakhs worth items during the raid.

The SOG team during patrolling received a information about one Narendra Wadhvani runs Surya Electronics shop at Undera Koyli road and sell duplicate electronic items by pasting logos of branded companies on the products.

Based on the information the team raid the place and seized assemble televisions and Air conditioning items along with logos, stickers, barcode and catalogue books of branded companies from the spot. A complaint has been registered in Jawaharnagar police station under violation I of copyright act and other sections.

Talking about the Modus operandi, the accused brought low cost parts of AC and Flat shaped televisions from Delhi and assembled here. Then by pasting logos and stickers of branded companies he sold the products to customers and cheat them. The team recovered logos, stickers of branded companies, different size assembled TV’s, outdoor and indoor AC units and assemble items like gas refilling, compressor, gas cylinders, copper, wire from the spot.
