After Kamatibaug the famous Sayajibaug zoo in Vadodara is started after closed for seven months due to Coronavirus pandemic. As part of the precaution the zoo time is kept at 8 to 10 in the morning and 4 to 6 in the evening. Earlier the garden was opened in unlock 5 for the morning walkers following Covid 19 guidelines.

Run by Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan, Kamati Bagh situated in the center of Vadodara is the hallmark of city. However due to corona epidemic the garden was closed for public as per the guideline of the Central Zoo Authority. As the Coronavirus effect decreased Kamatibaug is now opened in phases by the authorities. First it was opened for morning walkers and now the zoo reopened after seven months today.

As part of the precaution, it has been decided to keep the zoo open from 8 to 10 in the morning and from 4 to 6 in the evening. No visitors are there in the morning at the zoo but according to zoo officials, visitors are likely to arrive between 4 and 6 p.m in evening.

Zoo officials said work on a new cage for violent animals, including tigers and lions, located at the zoo, was in its final stages. So as of now all the violent animals are being kept in the old cage and will soon be living in new cages. In the same way in Kamati Bagh Asia's largest bird house is taking shape and work on this is also in its final stages. The bird house will be ready soon. Birds are currently kept in the old bird house.

It is to be mentioned that during the festivals, a large number of people from the surrounding villages, including the city of Vadodara visited Kamati Bagh to spend good time. As the Diwali holidays are currently underway, there will be a big crowd of people expected in Kamati Bagh. Then people are allowed as per the guidelines of the Central Zoo Authority to prevent the transition to the ongoing pandemic. Precautionary notice boards have been put outside each entrance as per the guideline of Covid-19 and requesting people to follow of their own as well as others safety.

Vadodara's pride Kamati Bagh offers visitors a variety of facilities such as zoo, bird house, crocodile park, fish house, museum and toy train. The garden will be buzzing again after opening during the time of Diwali vacation. With the opening of Kamati Bagh, people who make a living by selling small and big items outside the garden will also once again earn their living.
