Vadodara Rural SOG Police has succeeded in nabbing a habitual bike thief involved in 18 cases of vehicle theft. Police recovered three bikes from him and further investigating in the case.

A team of Vadodara Rural SOG Police during investigation nabbed the habitual thief on the basis of certain information. The team seized three stolen bikes from him and solved the case of bike thefts.

The SOG had received definite information that a man was coming to Jarod with a stolen bike stolen. The offence was registered in the Bapod police station. Based on that the police set a watch and caught him with the bike.

The police interrogation revealed that the accused was Vishnu Ratilal Makwana from Paswa village in Savli and currently lives in Tekra Walu Faliyu, Jarod. He confessed to stealing this bike from Ajwa Road Shree Hari Township, another one from the refinery’s main gate parking lot as well as from near the ISKCON temple. Police seized three stolen bikes from his possession.

Thus, the SOG Rural Police had succeeded in solved the three bike theft cases registered at Bapod, Jawanagar and Gotri police stations. It may be noted here that Vishnu Makwana has been booked for 12 bike theft offenses in Vadodara district, six in Vadodara city and two in Panchmahal and Chhotaudepur districts.
