Closed nearly for 72 days after the outbreak of Corona virus, Vadodara RTO office once again buzzing with people with strict adherence to the guidelines of Covid-19. However on the first day the persons having online appointments are allowed inside the R.T.O. for their work.

Incharge RTO Inspector A.M. Patel said the RTO office closed due to the lockdown started from 4th June. Only those who have taken online appointments are being admitted in the operation which has been started with all vigilance as per the guideline of Covid-19. Along with this, only those who come wearing masks are being admitted. Office employees as well as applicants coming for various works are being admitted only after checking with thermal gun scanner. Sanitisation facility has also been arranged at the gate for people entering inside.

He further said that due to the lockdown, the person whose learning license has expired after 21-3-20, will be able to come to the office for test by taking a new appointment by 31-7-2020. On the RTO memos issued by the police during the lockdown, he added that the work has been handed over to the concerned police station. Social Distancing is strictly followed in the RTO office as per the guideline issued by the government for Corona virus.

As the RTO was closed for the last 72 days, various works like license, vehicle transfer were stopped and now after the start the area is buzzing once again. The R.T.O. Agents also began their work outside the office so as the food and drink shops opened for people.
