Vadodara city and district is also ready for the upcoming elections after the election commission declared the dates of Gujarat on Wednesday. The district collector also the election officer shared the details of voters and the teams engaged in the process.
Collector P. Bharthi said in Vadodara district there are total 23,40,882 voters with 2433 plus 10 oxilary booths in 1267 buildings. Their teams are ready for the election work which includes expenditure monitoring, MCC violation and implementation, media certification monitoring, flying squads, static surveillance teams and others.
This time they will install GPS on every vehicle to track them. Toll free numbers 18002332723 and 1950 becomes active for any election related griviences. This time Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) will be in place for the first time and the election commission pressed special mobile vans ‘Matdar Jagruti Rath’ to aware the voters.
