Vadodara police is strictly implementing the lockdown call
given by the government to fight the Novel Coronavirus. The teams deploayed at
various points of the city stops the people venture out during the lockdown.
They immediately send them requesting to be indoors and also teach some a
lesson who venture out unnecessarily.

To fight COVID 19 Gujarat government take decision for total
lockdown till 31st and request the people to keep distance and be at home for
their own safety. In Vadodara also the city wear a deserted look as people
prefer to stay indoors. Residents in some areas were coming out but police
stopped them and strictly inquiring about the purpose and allowed them. However
some of them get the lesson to move out unnecessarily from their house as
police make them sit-ups in open.

Inspite of some of the incidents most the areas in Vadodara
follows the lockdown and prefer to stay indoors. The district administration
appeal people to keep distance and stay at home to their own well being. The
police also issue warning not to break the rules during lockdown as action will
be taken as per Provisions of Epidemic Act.
