Vadodara police send Suraj Kahar to Surat Jail under PASA

Vadodara crime branch and Panigate police station send Suraj Kahar to Surat jail under PASA. Earlier he was arrested by the police after his Corona report comes as negative during testing. He is accused in murder case and violation of lockdown rules after took out a rally after getting bail from Vadodara central jail.

As per details Suraj Kahar was accused in a murder happened in the month of February and send to central jail after the court order. Later his bail application was accepted and he was released on bail on 4th June 2020. His friends came to receive him along with a Audi car and from there they took out a rally to Warasia and clearly violated the lockdown rules in the city.

A video of the same goes viral in social media where Suraj Kahar was clearly seen in the Audi accompanied by his friends. The offence was registered in DCB police station under IPC 188 and GP Act 135 against Suraj Kahar, Arun Maachi, Ajay, Nitin Bhadauria alias Sunil Rajput, Sunny, Shahrukh, Shivam Kahar and 10 others under IPC 188 and GP act 135. Police arrested many of his associates recovered the Audi car used in the rally by the accused. He was declared wanted by the police and hunt is on to nab him.

PCB team formed various teams and conduct raid at different possible hideouts of Suraj Kahar and question his associates to trace his location. On 26th June midnight the team received a tip about Suraj Kahar hide inside Malsar village in Vadodara district. The team reached there but he was not found there. Later a perfect tip was received by the team about him hiding inside his sister (not sibling) house at Varacha village near Narmada river at Rajpipla.
Based on the information the team reached the village in a boat and arrested Suraj from the place early morning on Friday. He was handed over to the DCB police station for further investigation.

As per standard norms his samples were collected for Corona testing and he was booked by the police after reports comes as negative. On Saturday police commissioner issued PASA warrant against Suraj Kahar and based on that Crime branch with the help of Panigate police send him to Surat jail under PASA.
The accused Suraj Kahar is a history sheeter and around 20 cases of 302, 307, rioting, prohibition and others is registered against him in various police stations of Vadodara.
