Vadodara police rescued 10 year old boy involved in child labour

His aunt and uncle forced him to do household work and tortured if denied

Vadodara police rescued a 10 year old boy from the hands of his aunt and her husband. The couple forcing him to do household work and beat if he asked for going out and play. Police arrested the uncle Shahid khan and further investigating in the matter.

Lives in Hathikhana Genda Falia, Shahid khan and his wife Saherbanu is into sarees business and needs someone for household work. Saher then bring 10 year old son of her sister from UP pretending to educate him and instead force him to sit at the shop and also do household work here in Vadodara. If he denied then they beat him.

A local woman came to his help and shot a video of him in her mobile where the boy put allegations on his aunt and uncle to force him doing work and beat him with sticks. The women gives the video to the PCB and the team raid the spot and rescued the boy from there. They also arrested the uncle Shahid Khan and a complaint of child labour is in process at city police station.

Police also informed the boy's father Mohammad Hakim and mother and called them to Vadodara. The boy is kept at Bal Gokulam till his parents arrived in the city.
