Arrested two declared one wanted in the matter

Vadodara Makarpura police recovered Rs 5.77 lakh worth of foreign liquor hidden in an eucalyptus farm on the city’s Tarsali bypass. Police also arrested two bootleggers and declared one wanted in the matter. Further investigation is underway.

PI of Makarpura police station R.A. Patel said, they received the information about liquor hidden in an eucalyptus field on the Tarsali bypass. Based on that information, the surveillance team was asked to investigate and they found foreign liquor worth lakhs from the spot. The team arrested bootlegger Mayur alias Vicky Deepakbhai Kanojia (resides near Shivnagar Suez Pumping Station, Gajrawadi) and Suresh alias Kalu Somabhai Vanzara (resides at Bharatwadi Zudpatti, Dabhoi Road) for selling liquor.

While another bootlegger Nagin Bhikhabhai Jadav (Res. Umang Complex, Gajrawadi) has been declared wanted and search is on to trace the accused. Police have seized two mobile phones, moped and other items including liquor worth Rs 6,02,800 from the spot.
