To stop the youth for getting addicted to drugs,
Vadodara police raided around 10 places in the city and caught people
suspicious to be consume the drugs. Police caught them and further
investigation is on in the matter.

As per details given by crime branch DCP Jaydipsinh
Jadeja, the city police runs the campaign to make the city drugs free and stop
the youths from getting addicted to varieties of such drugs. On the
instructions of police commissioner Anupam Sinh Gahlaut 10 teams are formed and
they conduct raid and different places in the city to check the addicted.

During the raid the teams caught 56 people suspicious
to be under inebriated state and taken to the crime branch office. The parents
were called to the police station and counseling was done by the police.

 DCP Jadeja
further said the teams raided at Vishwamitri under bridge, Soma Talav Hanuman
Tekri, Manisha Chowkdi near Honda showroom, Subhanpura Santoshi nagar,
Saurashtra pan, Vasna road, near Kalyan party plot, beast and white cafe Elora
park, near Panigate darwaza,  Kalyan cafe
Fatehgunj,  near Akota D mart, Sunpharma
road, near HCG hospital as part of the campaign.

The teams found people suspicious to be under the
effect of Afeem and Ganja and also seized the packets.

The city police questioned the drug sellers and
carriers in view of the campaign. A drive will also be carried out by the
police against such sellers and carriers in coming days. The police team
already keeping a watch at the places where drugs are selling to the youths
which make them addicted.
