    As the whole nation continue it’s fighting with Coronavirus, the government is taking every measures to contain the epidemic. One such step is nationwide lockdown where the police put their lives in danger while taking strict measures to ensure the safety of people.

    During this lockdown Gujarat police implement strict measures and rules in order to maintain law and order situation during the lockdown phase. However while performing their duties some of the jawans get infected and died due to Coronavirus. Amidst the outbreak of Covid 19 on duty policemen from Ahmedabad, Assistant Head Constable Mukesh Somabhai from Traffic police station and Junior clerk in Ahmedabad Commissioner office Hirenbhai Vishnubhai Prajapati died on 8-06-2020 due to the virus.

    Vadodara police commissioner Anupam Singh Gahlaut along with top officers and police staff paid their respect to the departed souls. They observed a two minutes silence on Tuesday at the police bhavan and pray for them.
