various points to ensure peaceful 31st night celebrations
2019 is
about to end and people are eagerly waiting for the new year to welcome it with
open arms. Hotels, farm houses are all set for the new year parties and so as
the Vadodara police to stop any untoward incident during the celebrations.
Party goers
specially the youths are making last minute preparations for the 31st night and
giving final shape to their plans to welcome the new year. However
sometimes incidents like drunk driving,
eve teasing and others play spoil sport in the whole celebrations.
To avoid
such things Vadodara police is also not taking any chances and put their
machinery in place. Police is already posted at identified spots with breath
analysers to catch the drunkards. Extensive vehicle checking is also carried
out to keep a watch on the carriers and stop any untoward incident during the
celebrations.
Joint Police
Commissioner Kesarisinh Bhati said in Vadodara city Ranchod farm at Sama Savli
road, Laxmi Film studio at Ajwa Chowkdi, Madhuvan Farm at Sama Savli road and
C.M. Patel farm at Undera road. Police is also taking every measure to ensure
peaceful 31st celebrations and special checking will be done at the part
venues.
Further he
said police with 110 Breath Analysers to check drunk driving during the festive
celebrations and action will be taken if anyone found violating the rules.
25 points
are raised at different points of the city for vehicle checking and 11 points
are covered at 11 roads entry points in the city. Special police deployment is
there at famous spots like Akota Dandia bazaar, Fatehgunj and Pandya bridge.
273 traffic
point police jawans, 250 barricading are placed along with one team of RAF and
Three teams of SRP for the security arrangements in view of new year eve parties.
Inspite of
that parties are also going to held in city poles, societies to celebrate and
welcome the new year with great enthusiasm. District police is also keeping a
strict watch on the parties and celebrations at farm houses and party plots.
