    Ahead of 31st December and in view of Corona pandemic, Vadodara city police tighten up their strings to check any untoward activities during the day. Teams will be deployed at various points since morning for intensive checking specially prohibition and violation of notification in place.

    Vadodara police is not taking any half measures when it comes to citizens safety and tighten the security ahead of 31st December. Since morning on the last day of 2020, intensive checking will be conducted at every points. From 6pm checkposts will be raised at every entry and exit points and every passing vehicle will be checked by the on duty teams.

    After 9pm during curfew hours intensive checking of unnecessary vehicle movement and prohibition will be done by the teams. People caught in prohibition after 9pm will be booked for two offences which include notification violation.

    All day CCTV monitoring will be there by the teams from the control room specially at identified points. Teams of crime branch, SOG, PCB will check farmhouses and places where new year parties are going to be held.

    Vadodara police also request people to strictly follow the Covid 19 guidelines for their safety and help them in maintaining law and order in the city. They appeal them to stay at home and welcome the new year with safety.
