Vadodara police caught a digital gang involved in theft of electronics items with the help of google application from corporate offices. The team caught them while they are searching for the customers to sell the items. The gang came from Surat done reiki in the morning and stealing items in the night.
PCB incharge PI R. C. Kanmiya said based on the prior information their team caught Vaibhav Sakariya, Rahul Thakor and Janak Solanki all from Surat near Amit Nagar circle in Vadodara. The trio was roaming on bikes and in search of customers to sell the electronic items like laptop, camera and mobile phones but caught by the police before they complete their task.
He further said that out of the three 30 yr old Vaibhav access the details of Vadodara corporate office with the help of google app. After getting the details of entry and exit timings the trio then entered the office in the night time. Rahul climbed the pipe of the bathroom and entred inside by breaking the grill. He then damaged the CCTV and steal laptops, cash and other things from there. They then sold it and later went to Ajmer, Mumbai and foreign locale for enjoyment.
The digital gang has a criminal past and targeted Nine gems diamond shop near Natubhai circle, jewellery showroom at Trivia complex, Infotec software company at Alkapuri and Jasmine mobile shop at Makarpura area. Police recovered laptops, cameras, mobiles, tablets, motorcycle, moped from them and further investigating.
