Vadodara police arrested three youths from Yakutpura area for making a clip and viral it on social media with an intention to create tensions between the two communities. The trio use to make the clip after the communal tensions on Ramnavami day on Sunday and viral it in their social media group.

On Sunday communal tensions erupted in the sensitive Fatehpura area of Vadodara city during a Ramnavami procession. Heavy stone pelting were reported and the miscreants also put fire the vehicles and other things in the area. Police fired teargas shells to disrupt the mob and control the situation before it spread to the other sensitive areas.

The police then active their cyber crime cell to kept a watch on the viral videos as during such incidents the clips are responsible for the tensions in the past. During investigation the police team caught three youths from Yakutpura area for making a clip and viral it in their social media group.

“Our team Azbar Khan alias Ajju, Adil and Mushtaq for making a clip and viral it in their social media group. They took the clip of film Raees and dubbed it in their own voice using language to create tensions between the two communities. The clip was made in the midnight after the communal tensions was calmed to create the tensions once again,” said Kesrisinh Bhati Joint CP Vadodara.

Out of the accused Ajju is the son of former councillor and done his B.Tech from Bangalore. Adil is the student of B.Com and his father runs a dhaba near Railway station. The third accused Mushtaq is into AC repairing work.
