    A youth living inside Methodist cemetery in the Nizampura area of ​​Vadodara city was killed on Monday. The police investigation has revealed that he was killed by his friend. Police have arrested the killer and has begun  interrogation to find out the reason for the murder.

    Rakesh Rajubhai Christian (35), who lives with his family in a Methodist church in Nizampura area was working as a watchman. On Monday his family went to Bharuch for Rakshabandhan. Meanwhile his friend came home and there was a quarrel between the two. The fight got ugly and the enraged friend stabbed Rakesh to death with a sharp weapon and fled.

    The family members returned late in the evening were shocked to see Rakesh’s body lied in the pool of blood. The Fatehgunj police immediately rushed to the spot and send the body for postmortem. The team then began an investigation to resolve the murder.

    A.C.P.  Paresh Bhensania said, the Fatehganj police had investigated from different angles and solved the murder case in a matter of hours. The police investigation has revealed that Rakesh Christian was killed by his friend and has been arrested. Investigation is on to know the reason behind the murder. The police is also in the process for the Covid 19 test of the accused as per government guidelines.
