Vadodara police arrested former priest of Jain Derasar for kidnapping the brother of the priest
Accused not getting money as per the said deal
Vadodara police
arrested a former priest of Jain Derasar along with his associates for
kidnapping the brother of the priest of the temple. The accused was not getting
the money as per the said deal and kidnapped the brother of the priest. Police
caught all of them in a quick operation after the complaint.
As per Navapura PSI S.V. Chaudhari Dipesh Baria from
Panchmahal works as a priest in the Jain Derasar at R.V. Desai road in the
city. However the trustees throw him out after he found to be consume liquor.
Later Dipesh managed Ashok Parmar from his village to work in the derasar and a
deal was signed for 35000 rupees.
However Dipesh was irate after not getting the money from
Ashok Parmar and kidnapped his brother along with his associates on Thursday in
a auto rickshaw.
They kept him inside a house near Wadi crematorium and called
Ashok to give one lakh for his release. They also threaten to kill him if he
failed to give money.
A complaint was given at Navapura police and a team was
formed to investigate the case. The team searched in different areas and
finally caught Dipesh Parmar, Jitendra Kahar, Rakesh Solanki and Shyam Kahar
and managed to release Kalpesh from there.
