    Rapid Action Force joined the city police to ensure peace in city

    In view of the protest against Citizen Amendment Act, Vadodara police on Friday done foot march in sensitive areas of the city. Rapid Action Force teams also joined the city police to ensure peace in the city.

    On Thursday the Muslim organisations closed their shops and business in protest against the Citizen Amendment Act. Police since morning kept a strict vigil on the activities and force of nearly 2000 personnel were deployed in sensitive areas of the city.

    On Friday also the police along with RAF teams conduct foot march in sensitive areas like Panigate, Junigadi, Yakutpura, Fatepura, Panjrigar Mohallo, Hathikhana, Mandi, karelibaug police station area including Machchhipith and kasamala to ensure peace. The teams also kept at various points to keep a watch on related activities through out the day.
