Requesting cancellation of police cases against their leaders

Vadodara youths of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti Gujarat gives a memorandum to district collector requesting the cancellation of police cases against their leaders. They demand to waive the cases registered against Hardik Patel, Alpesh Kathiria and other protestors during the Patidar Anamat agitation.

In 2015 many represntations were made to government about quota of Patidar youths in educational institutes and government jobs. However with no response there was big agitation in Gujarat and government registered cases against their leaders Hardik Patel, Alpesh Kathiria and other protestors to silent the protest. Many of them were put behind bars for offences and later goverment accepted to give 10 % reservation to those coming in non reserved categories.

Meanwhile talks were held between the leaders and government and many cases are waived during the time of the elections. However many such cases are still pending against the youths and there is a demand to waive the remaining cases by the government.

With this demand Patidar youths from Vadodara under the banner of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti gives a memorandum to the collector on Monday. They request to waive the cases against the youths and threaten to protest on Gandhi way unless their demands are not resolved.
