Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan demolished over 29 illegal houses in Makarpura village on Monday. Locals applauded their work and expressed their happiness with fireworks as the demolition was carried out after allotment of houses.

A new community hall is going to be built in the land of Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan included in Administrative Ward No. 12 and Survey No. 139. A work order has also been issued in this regard by the corporation.

On Monday morning, the demolition work of 29 illegal houses on this land was carried out by the encroachment branch. Makarpura Police, Power Company, Fire Department and Land Survey Acquisition Officers were present during the operation.

On the other hand, the locals applauded the work with fireworks as the demolition was carried out after allotment of houses. At the same time, local political leaders also expressed the feeling that such operations should be carried out by the corporation in other areas. A large number of people had gathered at the time of demolition.
