Lawyers are outraged after the state government has given Talati the power to take the oath. A executive meeting of the Vadodara Advocate’s was convened on Thursday and a resolution was passed asking the state government to cancel the circular. It was decided to file a PIL in the High Court if the circular is not revoked.

Meanwhile, lawyers on Friday chanted slogans against the state government on the matter of the circular. Hasmukh Bhatt, president of the Bar Association, said, they will intensify the agitation If the government does not resolve these issues as soon as possible.

Further they said, the court has been closed since March and lawyers are facing several crises. In such time the state government decision has hit the livelihood of lawyers and notaries through this circular. Giving Talati the power of affidavit will increase corruption.

Today, all the lawyers have gathered in the court and burn the copies of circular in their agitation against the state government decision. They says, If the circular against the law is not canceled, a PIL will be filed in the High Court. Large number of lawyers joined the agitation.
