Harni police arrested four in a matter of exchanging black money into white.

Of the four arrested two of them pretend to be policemen and robbed the complainant for not register any police case. The complainant in greed of getting 30% from the deal stuck the deal with the accused and in the process lost his white money also.

Residing in Jagruti society at Gotri road Mohit Dhirubhai Bhavsar is working in private security company and his job profile is to give payment to the employees. He had 1.50 lakhs with currency of 2000 which was introduced by the government recently after the ban of 500 and 1000 rupee notes.

Mohit Bhavsar struck a deal with Jaydeep Ranjitsinh Shinora and Pradip Auria both residing at Waghodia Road for exchanging white money with black money but with 30% commission. The deal was finalised to change 4 lakh black money of ban currency of 500 and 1000 rupees to 2.80 Lakh white money deducting the 30% of commission.

After the deal both the parties gathered near P&T colony on 22nd November to change the black into white as per the discussion. Mohit Bhavsar reached with 2.52 lakhs of the employees salary and money borrowed from his friends so as Pradeep Auria and Jaydeep Shinora with the cash of banned currency.

As the two parties are exchanging the currency as per the deal two persons pretend to be policemen seized 2.52 lakhs from them and also take 46,000 white money from Mohit Bhavsar as bribe money for not register police case.

However Mohit Bhavsar sensed something fishy about the duo who escaped from the spot with their money. He immediately called up the Harni police station and registered complaint there.

Harni PSI N.K. Goswami arrested the four with 2.52 lakhs and 46,000 rupees after the complaint by Mohit Bhavsar.

Police showed two Pradeep Auria and Jaydeep Shinora as arrested and rest two were not shown on paper as yet. Out of the two who were yet to shown as arrested one is said to be nephew of police official working in the city.

Greed of getting 30% from the deal Mohit Bhavsar said that his wife is pregnant and he need money for her delivery. He accepted that this type of work is unlawful but he did it for need of money. His intention was to deposit the 30% black money in the bank and turned it into white but due to greed he lost his white money also.

PSI N.K. Goswami said that the two who robbed Mohit Bhavsar pretending to be policemen is the matter of investigation. As of now they showed Pradeep Auria and Jaydeep Shinora as arrested in the case.
