Vadodara GMERS entire dome structure will be convert into 100 beds ICU

More beds will be functional in SSG for the patients in few days

Vadodara district administration is taking every possible step in their fight against the deadly Coronavirus. As numbers of patients are increasing everyday, the beds and other necessary facilities are also coming up to accommodate the patients and give them the best possible treatment.

On Monday Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao visited GMERS Gotri and reviewed the situation. He informed, the 5th Floor is functional and 6th Floor will be ready by 1st of August. Once patients move to 5th Gloor of Main Building, they will convert the entire Dome Structure into 100 bed ICU in next 7 -10 days.

Later he visited SSG Hospital and reviewed the progress of the work. He said, 25 Multi Para Monitors were received yesterday and installed. In addition 35 COVID beds in Surgery Ward is ready for use from tomorrow. Shifting of Pediatric Ward is also started. All floors of Trauma Building will have sufficient Oxygen Points with Flow meters and 500 beds will be made fully functional in next few days. Liquid Oxygen Tank work is also finishing
