Vadodara fire brigade starts checking inside Covid hospitals

Vadodara fire brigade began checking inside the Covid hospitals after the ill fated incident in Ahmedabad. Eight patients died after a fire inside Shrey hospital in Navrangpura Ahmedabad early morning on Thursday.

On the instructions of OSD Dr. Vinod Rao and Municipal Commissioner, fire teams started checking in the dedicated Covid hospitals both government and private for fire safety. The teams checks whether the equipments installed in the hospitals are in working condition to use in time of emergency.

Fire officer Om Jadeja said, all station teams are initially checking the safety parameters followed by the hospitals and the equipments kept inside the premises. The checking will be completed by Thursday evening and after that they will be able to give the clear picture about the fire safety inside Covid hospitals.
