His car fell inside Jamva river due to heavy current of water
Vadodara Fire and Emergency Service rescued a retired police inspector stuck inside the car on road between Makarpura from Dhaniyavi. The fire fighters carefully reached and took him to safety amidst gushing flood water.
As per details given by fire officer Nikunj Azad, Retired PI Rajendrasinh Nanaba age 70, vehicle number, GJ, 05 5552 was driving his Maruti Zen and on his way from Manjalpur to Dhanyavi on 15/08/2020 at 10:55 am. Due to heavy current of water, his car fell inside Jamva river and he climbed on the top and shouted for help.
The people immediately reported to the control room of Vadodara Municipal Fire and Emergency Service Center. Within time the team of GIDC FIRE and emergency service reached the spot and rescued the retired PI with the help of ropes and boat. The maruti car drowned inside the heavy gushing water.
