The body of Milan Rajput, who went missing after drowning in the Ankodia Canal was recovered by fire brigade on Tuesday. However the mystery of his death remains intact as his father Jitu Rajput said that even after his son lost his job, there was no financial problem in the family.
According to information received by fire brigade sources, Jitubhai Rajput, a resident of Gotri Mahinagar Society, owns a shop selling building materials. His son Milan Rajput was employed in a private company and lost his job during the Corona-era lockdown.
However due to his father’s shop the financial situation is good and there was no trouble in the house. On Monday Milan left home with his friends saying he would be back in a few minutes.
He called his father later and asked him to bring both the boys from tuition. He then informed about coming back in a while and disconnect the call. A few moments later he contacted his father on his mobile phone and asked if he had brought the two boys from tuition. He told to be back in a few minutes and heading towards the Ankodia canal.
Milan’s friend was waiting for him near the canal. A little later he grew suspicious after Milan Rajput did not return and contacted his father Jitu Rajput and informed him. went missing. The father was shocked to hear that his son Milan had fallen into the Rajput canal. His father informed the fire brigade about his missing son and even shouted for him after reaching the Ankodia Canal.
On Tuesday morning, fire brigade personnel conducted an exercise to find the missing Milan Rajput in the canal and found his body. Police is further investigating in the case.
