Vadodara division of Western Railway formed Business Development Unit

In order to achieve the target of doubling the freight volume being carried out by Railways by 2024, it is proposed to strengthened the Railway’s share in traditional commodities & explore in to the miscellaneous non-bulk goods.

Keeping this aim, a Multi-disciplinary Business Development Unit is formed of officers from Operating, Commercial, Finance & Mechanical departments in Vadodara division of Western Railway. The Group coordinator of said group is Deepak Mulchandani, Senior Divisional Operation Manager.
