Inspected the voting process interacted with elder voters

Under the leadership of District Election Officer Shalini Agarwal, polling for district / panchayat elections and municipal elections of Savli, Padra and Dabhoi started peacefully at 8 am.

She said that health kits and gloves have been provided to the voters at each polling station keeping in view the guidelines of Covid 19. 150 wheelchairs and 150 volunteers have been placed in Vadodara district to help disabled, old and pregnant mothers in voting.

She further said that police arrangements have been made everywhere. Police, Zonal Officers and Returning Officers are working jointly in sensitive and hypersensitive areas.

She appealed to people to use their invaluable vote as well as strictly follow the guidelines of Covid-19 during this process.
