Vadodara District Collector made detailed review of Covid situation in rural area through video conference

District Collector Shalini Agarwal on Tuesday held a video conference with taluka health officials and medical officers of rural health centers to review in detail the situation of Covid in rural areas of the district, treatment facilities, work being done by Dhanvantari Raths, health work under the seventh round of rapid survey. She give guidance to make the work more effective and also discussed about home isolation management.

She instructed to conduct OPD and antigen tests by Dhanvantari Raths in the areas of the district which have been identified as High Risk Areas as per the Arogya Setu App.

Apart from this, the Covid Care Centers functioning in the district as well as the number of approved hospitals for treatment, number of beds available under it should be increased and the expanded facility should be operational by the end of September.

The District Collector said that the campaign of identification and screening of Super Spreader in Padra city should be carried out once again.
