Sent one lakh food packets and bottles to the affected areas

All eyes are now on Cyclone Vayu schedule to reach Gujarat in next 24 hours with wind speed touching 135 km. The government machinery is mobilised towards the possible affected areas to evacuate people to safer places before the cyclone hit the coast. The local administration is also in process to send relief materials to the people in time.

Vadodara district administration also keep their efforts and prepare food packets and water bottles to the areas schedule to be affected the most from Cyclone Vayu. One lakh food packets are prepared inside Maharani Chimanbhai school and will be send to the areas along with equal numbers of water bottles.

District Collector Shalini Agarwal said all the concerned departments are putting on alert in view of cyclone. They are sending relief materials to the affected areas and ready to extend any help to the people.
