As the city is under lockdown period for 21 days, the district administration is taking every measure to help people in providing food and other essential items. In one such incident the administration provide ration to two divyang families in the city.
On the instructions of district collector Shalini Agrawal a food committee is formed of the officers of collector office along with a control room. The control centre received a call from two divyang families living in VUDA housing at Khodiyarnagar area about having no ration at their house.
Acting on that the District Social Security officer was informed by the controller of the control room, Deputy Collector, Land Reform to provide the ration kit to the families. The district administration is taking care of the labourers, divyangs and needy persons in the lockdown period in the city.
