People violates lockdown will be booked under PASA if needed

Vadodara district administration implement cluster quarantine in and nearby areas of Patel Falia in Nagarwada. The decision is taken in view of the positive case comes out in the city on Sunday.

54 year old resident of Patel Falia is tested positive of Coronavirus and is under treatment as per standard protocol inside SSG hospital. The district administration immediately kept his family members and other persons under quarantine of the area and as a preventive measure implement cluster quarantine in a around the area.

Gujarat government OSD Dr. Vinod Rao and Municipal Commissioner Nalin Upadhyay visited the area to review the situation and preventive measures taken by the administration.

Dr. Rao said the person had symptoms of fever for last four days and everyone came in contact might have getting the infection. As of now they immediately quarantine 16 persons of the area and put the whole area under cluster quarantine and red zone. He also said the area has around 650 houses and 3200 residents. Their teams will complete the surveillance of the whole area and preventive action will be taken if anyone has any symptoms.

As the whole Vadodara city is under lockdown cases of violations are reported from many areas. Taking a serious note on that now onwards the administration is strictly implementing the lockdown order. Dr. Vinod Rao said that people break the lockdown order intentionally will be held for violation of Epidemic Act IPC 188 and might be booked under PASA.

Taking a note on the NGOs and other organisations helping people during lockdown, Dr. Vinod Rao said now onwards no one is allowed to visit any areas and those who wants to help they can give their donation and help in CM relief fund. The government will extend every help to people in the city. Dr. Rao also added that Gotri hospital is set up as dedicated Corona hospital and now onwards every positive case will be shifted there f
