Vadodara crime branch arrested two carriers with IMFL

Vadodara Crime Branch arrested two Rajasthani carriers who came to deliver foreign liquor to two bootleggers in Vadodara. The accused tried to break the barricade and escape but police chased and caught them with 8.43 lakh worth items including liquor bottles.

Crime Branch team of PI J.J. Patel and A.B. Jadeja received the information about the two carriers from Rajasthan were coming in two cars carrying foreign liquor for delivery to bootleggers in Vadodara. Based on this information, the Crime Branch team had set up a watch at Golden chowkdi on the way to Ahmedabad. They barricaded the road to arrest the accused.

However the carriers tried to break the barricade and fled in their cars. But police chased them and arrested Daulatsinh Devisinh Sisodia (resides in Adwas village, Rajasthan) and Chetansinh Bhagwansinh Chauhan (resides at Shivkoloni, Udepur, Rajasthan) with foreign liquor worth Rs 1,88,660 and two cars worth Rs 8 lakhs. Accelerated with a caseload of 43,960.

Sohansinh Rajput (resides in Munwas village, Udaipur, Rajasthan) is declared wanted and police is investigating further to arrest him.
