Vadodara crime branch arrested the main accused involved in murder of 22yr old in Tandalja area over a petty issue of vehicle parking. The accused fled from the spot after the crime and police caught them from Navapur on Gujarat Maharashtra border.

On 22nd July Iliyas Meman lives in Aamir complex at Tandalja area had a fight over parking issue with one Farhan Shaikh having a chicken shop there. The fight got ugly as both quarrel once again over the issue and Farhan along with his family attacked Ilyas with sharp edge weapons kept inside his shop.

Iliyas died on the spot after such sudden brutal attack and his father got injuries while trying to save him. The main accused Farooq Shaikh his son Farhan Shaikh and his brother Mohammad Munaf fled from the spot after the crime.

On the basis of complainant Yasin Meman father of Iliyas the Vadodara police formed various teams to search for the accused and received a tip about their presence at Navapur on Gujarat Maharashtra border.

Based in the information about their exact location the crime branch team reached the spot and kept a watch to nab the accused. The team later arrested all the three accused from near Garden hotel at Navapur and brought back to Vadodara. They were handover to the J.P. police station for further investigation.

The accused Farooq Shaikh his son Mohammad Farhan Shaikh runs a Chicken shop at Tandalja area and the third accused his brother Mohammad Munaf Shaikh is working as broker for buying and selling houses.
