Vadodara crime branch arrested father son duo in the city for
violating the lockdown orders and deliver food to customers after taking orders
on phone.
WHO declared COVID 19 as pandemic and India is also in the
grip of Coronavirus. Gujarat government released guidelines to follow and in
view of that Vadodara police issued the notification to close down malls,
multiplexes, cinema halls and ban the gathering of people at one place to stop
the virus from spreading.
As lockdown in place the police request people to stay at
home and not move out of their houses unnecessarily. However many of them are
still moving out and violate the orders. The restaurant owner is also openly
violating the rules inspite of knowing that the city is witnessing the rise in
local transmission cases.
The team received the Information about the owner of After
Hours restaurant delivering food after taking orders on phone. During
investigation the team found the owner takes order on mobile no. 7874577577 and
deliver food without any proper permission. They both are caught for violating
the lockdown rules.
The team arrested Kishor Choksi and Harshil Choksi residents
of Karelibaug and further investigating in the matter.
