Tried to fled towards UP when the team arrested them from near Golden Chowkdi
Vadodara crime branch arrested a couple for kidnapping a six months old infant from Surat. The couple was tried to fled towards UP when the team arrested them from near Golden Chowkdi.
As per complaint registered in Sachin GIDC police station at Surat, the six months old son of the complainant was taken by one Anita their neighbour pretending to get some biscuits. As she failed to return the complainant searched for the lady and her husband as both are found to be missing. A kidnapping complaint was given at the police station and a message was received by the Vadodara police about the couple heading towards the city.
Based on the message the crime branch team get the pictures of the accused and after search caught the couple from near Golden Cowkdi near Vadodara. The accused Amit Gayaprasad Gadadiya 25 originally from UP and his wife Anita had two children earlier and both of them died. For the last two years they don’t have any child and kidnap the infant as they need a child badly. They board the truck on their way towards UP but the truck comes till Vadodara so they get down here and caught by the police.
