Earlier arrested in kidnapping case by the police

Vadodara crime branch arrested a online food delivery boy with a stolen two wheeler from the city. The accused was caught with the moped after the police found his activities suspicious during the checking. He was earlier arrested in kidnapping case by the police.

In today’s fast paced world people are getting less time to even go inside the kitchen and that makes them to depend on the online food delivery companies. However sometimes incidents like this came to light which proves to be a red signal for us to be careful when it comes to our security.

The accused Ritesh Padhiyar 20 is the resident of Samiyala in Padra district and works as delivery boy in popular online food delivery company Zomato. Based on the information the crime branch team intercepted him near Shivaji circle in Munjmahuda area and while checking found his activities suspicious. He failed to present any papers of the two wheeler and police caught him under the offence. Ritesh was earlier arrested in kidnapping case by the police.

The incident is a signal for us to be careful while dealing with unknown people comes to our homes. The online food delivery companies are growing rapidly and in this case a question arise about the verification by the company of the delivery boys while hiring them for the job. No doubt such companies provide employment to many youths and help them stand on their feets but a cross verification of everyone is necessary to ensure credibility and avoid such incidents in future.
