Vadodara crime branch arrested the accused Deepak Ganpat Mishra involved in robbery at the jewellery showroom at Rajvi tower in the city. The accused fled to his native village in Uttar Pradesh after the crime and police teams wear local clothes and Hindi language to caught the accused.

As per details Rajesh Bhai Soni owns a jewellery showroom on the first floor of Rajvi Tower located on Tandalja Road under the jurisdiction of J. P. Police station. He was present at his store when the accused pretending as customer attacked him with a knife and robbed the jewellery in a matter of minutes. He later fled from the spot and a matter was registered by the police.

Based on the complaint the crime branch team formed different teams to search for the accused with the help of cctv footage and sources. Meanwhile they received a tip about the accused fled to his native village in UP. 

After confirmation two teams of crime branch dispatched to UP and found that the I fear of getting arrested, the accused was hidden in his in-laws house at Delhupur in Pratapganj. The team managed to find his whereabouts during the night but due to fields and open area they decide to go ahead with the operation in the morning.

As morning sets in crime branch team cordon the area but the accused ran into the fields as police entered inside the house. He was caught from nearly 300 meters from the place by the team. Crime branch team wear local clothes and use Hindi language to successfully complete the operation.

The accused Deepak Ganpatbhai Mishra 26 in involved in selling vegetables in Sayajipura market and lives in Shree Hari township in Vadodara city. Further investigation is on in the matter.
