Vadodara Corporation seals one shop for violating guidelines and sends notice to five shopkeepers

In Vadodara, there is an order to close shops selling non-essential items in the mini lockdown. However, we witness incidents of violations by the shopkeepers and in one such violation of guideline, Mamaji sticker shop was kept open near Jubilee Bagh. However the team reached the shop and sealed it. The corporation has also sent notices to 5 shopkeepers in different areas of the city.

In Vadodara, a mobile shop was kept open near Jubilee Bagh and people were called to sell stickers. The corporation's team reached the spot closed it down and sealed it. The team also give instructions to pay the fine in the ward office and open the shop when the lockdown is fully open and the shops are allowed to open.

In addition, notices have been sent to five shopkeepers for violating the Covid guidelines. In this regard, the municipal official requested that the traders should cooperate and not be forced to take such action.
