Vadodara Congress visits the contagious diseases hospital in Karelibaug in view of the rising cases of water borne diseases in city. They put allegations about the patients not getting adequate treatment inside the hospital.

The residents of East and South areas are in grip of water borne diseases as they are receiving polluted water for the last many months.

A resident of Fatehpura died on Thursday and the number of patients are increasing day by day forcing the hospital to accommodate extra beds for them.

On Saturday Congress president Prashant Patel, Leader of opposition in VMC Chandrakant Shrivastav (Bhathu) and Congress doctor cell reached the hospital at Karelibaug met the patients admitted there.

They later put allegations about inadequate staff and stock of medicines inside the hospital and the patients are not getting the needed treatment.
