Demand waiver of school fees and taxes
Vadodara city Congress on Tuesday protested against the rising prices of petrol and diesel and gives a memorandum to the Collector. They also demand waiver of school fees and taxes by disrupt traffic outside and burn posters.
Under the leadership of city president Prashant Patel, the city Congress gives the memorandum to the collector ans demand waiver of school fees and taxes. They also demand to roll back the increasing petrol diesel prices in view of the Corona situation. Senior leaders and members joined the protest in big numbers.
Congress President said, the lockdown badly affected the lives of people and now the petrol diesel price are increasing the burden. Moreover the corporation are collecting taxes followed by schools putting pressure on parents to submit fees. In such situation the government shall declare about waiver of school fees.
The Comgress aggressively protested against the various issues and disrupt traffic near the Collector office for a brief period. They also burn the petrol diesel posters at the spot.
