Vadodara Congress leader gives in written to Raopura police informing about someone tore down Diwali wishing hoardings put up on public roads. The leader seek investigation and action in the matter. The matter came to light after the Gujarat Assembly election results where BJP yielded good results.

Temporary hoardings of Congress leader Amit Ghotikar greets the public on the occasion of the upcoming Diwali and New Year festivities put up at Dandia Bazar Char Rasta. Last night someone torn down the hoardings. The Congress leader shocked to heard after his friend informed him about the incident. He filed an application at the Raopura police station with a demand to find the person who tore down these hoardings and take legal action against him.

Police have launched a search for the person who tore down the hoardings based on the application. Notably, CCTV cameras are installed in the same place where the hoardings were torn and it will help the police to identify the person. However the reason behind the incident was Political or person it is a matter of investigation.

In the application filed at the Raopura police station, Congress member Amit Gotikar said that hoardings were set up near Dandia Bazar Char Rasta at 12.30 pm on Tuesday


The hoarding has been put up on the occasion of Diwali considered to be the biggest festival. However on Wednesday one of his friend Sunnybhai Pawar informed him about the hoarding have been torn down while passing through the market. He took permission of the corporation for this banner and also deposit money.

Amit Gotikar said, He is a Congress spokesperson as well as a contender for the Congress ticket from Election Ward No.14. It is natural to have opponents and someone has torn down the banner last night. He gives an application in the police station and demand strict action in the matter.
